Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I grew up in Portland and now call Vancouver home, where I live with my wife of over 30 years. We’re proud parents of two incredible grown sons, and family will always be the foundation of everything I do.
My love for the strange and unsettling started early—staying up late to watch black-and-white horror classics featuring legends like Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, and Vincent Price. That fascination evolved into an obsession with 80s horror and eventually opened the door to science fiction. Time travel and parallel universes? That’s my sweet spot. Give me aliens, apocalyptic futures, and reality-bending concepts, and I’m all in.
History has always pulled at me too. How did we get here? What chain of events shaped our present moment? And if alternate timelines exist, what stories are unfolding there? Photography became my way of exploring those questions—capturing fragments of time before they fade. (Yes, I’m that guy on vacation who documents everything.)
In 2020, I joined my brother on his YouTube channel, Saages Abandoned, exploring abandoned locations and forgotten spaces. He’s the technical mastermind behind the camera and editing. I’m the one behind the lens, preserving moments through still images. Over time, we expanded into paranormal investigations, adding new tools, new experiences, and plenty of late-night adventures.
That journey inspired me to launch Forsaken Fragments on YouTube and TikTok—and now this blog. Not to compete, but to complement. We work as a team first and foremost, because family comes before anything else. This space is simply my own creative corner to share the stories, the history, the strange, and the beautifully forgotten.
I’m glad you’re here.
